Using Multiple Steam Accounts On The Same Device

Setup:

Account (A): Hesham’s Account

Account (B): CitiesOS Account

Initially, account (A) had Cork City (+2800 mods and assets downloaded).

Account (B) had KAUST City with its mods and assets subscribed.

Experiment:

1. I logged in using account (A). Opened the game and loaded Cork City without any problems.

2. I logged out from account (A). Then logged in using account (B).

3. I opened the game again. All of Cork City assets and mods disappeared from the Content Manager. I only had the assets and mods from KAUST in the Content Manager. Then I loaded KAUST without any problems.

4. I logged out from account (B). Then logged in again to account (A).

5. I was able to open Cork City again without any problems.

Conclusion:

You can switch between multiple steam accounts without any problems. However, if you have local assets (assets that you have created locally without publishing to the steam workshop), you won’t be able to use them unless you have the same local folder (%localappdata%\Colossal Order\Cities_Skylines).
